Mission & Vision

Go therefore and make disciples...

The Mission

The Congregation of Zion is a Christian church that embraces the Hebrew roots of the faith.  This is expressed through service, music, worship, teaching the Scriptures from a Hebrew perspective, and the celebration of Jewish traditions, feasts, and festivals. The Congregation of Zion's mission is to evangelize, disciple, and serve our community.

The Vision

The Congregation of Zion’s vision is to impact our community through spiritual renewal by ministering to others about Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ), provide food, clothing, and shelter to those in need, and minister to those who are incarcerated.

ABOUT US

The Congregation of Zion worships and reveres the God of Israel, and commits to teaching and living the truths found in His Word.  And according to His Word, God is holy and requires that His people also walk in holiness.  Holiness is not a single definition, but rather is explained throughout scripture (Leviticus 18,Deuteronomy 7.6, Joshua 24.19, Galatians 5.19-21,Hebrews 12.10-14, 1 Peter 2.9).

Therefore, Zion is a congregation that believes and teaches holiness as a lifestyle in which we refrain from:
Sexual Immorality
Abuse of alcohol
Illicit drug use
Rebellion to authority
Lying
Gossiping
Stealing
Violence
Rage, etc.

Luke 24. 44, 45
44 Then He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me. 45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.
