Dumisani Washington

Dumisani Washington is a Regional Field Coordinator and National Diversity Outreach Coordinator for the over 10 million member organization, Christians United for Israel (CUFI). He is also founder and former Director of the Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel (IBSI), and the Director of The Hebrew Project Artists gospel music group. Dumisani is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and founder and former Director of The Zion Academy of Music in Stockton, California. Dumisani is the founding Pastor and now Bishop of the Congregation of Zion in Stockton and an author whose latest book is the second edition of Zionism & the Black Church: Why Standing with Israel Will be a Defining Issue for Christians of Color in the 21st Century.
He and his wife, Valerie, have been married 32 years and have six children and two grandchildren.

Pastor Gerri came to The Congregation of Zion in the summer of 2005. She began serving as Associate Pastor before becoming Assistant Pastor. She moved from Connecticut where she was ordained at Liberty Christian Center International in Hartford. Pastor Gerri earned her Master's Degree in School Psychology and a doctorate in Counseling Psychology, and has enjoyed a career working in several school systems, and with families, individuals and couples.
She enjoys writing short stories, plays, researching, mentoring children and adults, and offering an encouraging word to anyone in need. Pastor Gerri began writing a book in 2019 on the topic of "women in ministry leadership". Her prayer is that God be glorified and that women leaders will be inspired to follow God's call on their lives.

Donnell Evans, Jr.
Lead Pastor
Pastor Donnell has been in ministry for over 25 years. He and his wife, LaTeshia, have been married for 17 years and have 7 children and 7 grandchildren. Along with their 7 children, they are spiritual parents to many other young people.
In the 25 years of being in ministry, Pastor Donnell has served as Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Associate Pastor, Minister of Evangelism, Sound Engineer, Board Member, and many other positions. Pastor Donnell has been serving here at the Congregation of Zion for the past 16 years, and was elevated to Lead Pastor in August 2020. He believes that God has a tremendous call on the saints in this season and is urging Zion to answer the call.

Dimitri Koger, Sr.
Pastor
Pastor Dimitri is a pastor here at the Congregation of Zion and has been a member for 12 years. He and his wife, Torya, have been married for 9 years and have four children. When he isn't ministering behind the pulpit, Pastor Dimitri serves Zion as an instructor for the Talmidim I class as well as Shabbat School. He has been in ministry for over 20 years.
Pastor Dimitri served 6 years in the United States Navy, and also graduated from Heald College with an AA in Computer Business and from the University of Phoenix with a BS in Information Systems.
