Dumisani Washington is the founding pastor of The Congregation of Zion. He and his wife, Valerie, have been married 30 years and have six children ages 17 to 28. Pastor Dumisani also serves as the Diversity Outreach Coordinator for Christians United for Israel (CUFI), and the Director of the Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel (IBSI). He is also an author, composer and music educator in Stockton, California. His latest book is entitled Zionism & the Black Church: Why Standing with Israel Will be a Defining Issue for Christians of Color in the 21st Century.
Pastor Dumisani is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and former director of The Zion Academy of Music in Stockton, and lectures across the country and internationally. As CUFI’s National Diversity Outreach Coordinator, Dumisani works with pastors, churches, college students and millennial’s to strengthen the ties between the Christian community and the Jewish State.
